Cognitive Engineer Undergraduate/Graduate Internship     ___________________________________________________________________________ CHI Systems is a recognized authority in conducting research and development in artificial intelligence and applying the results in areas such as cognitive modeling, decision-aiding applied to complex systems, human performance simulation, intelligent-agent technologies, eye-voice interfaces, and human-computer interface design and development. We need your help in building the intelligent systems of tomorrow, and are currently seeking candidates for the position of entry-level Cognitive Engineer. You will learn and apply leading-edge cognitive modeling technologies in various domains, ranging from military modeling and simulation, to intelligent web-based commercial applications. Responsibilities of the position include assisting in conducting cognitive task analyses, supporting development of executable cognitive models using CHI System's commercial cognitive modeling toolkit, iGEN, and supporting documentation and demonstration of such models. Skills Requirements: Good verbal communication and analytical skills, and an ability to quickly learn and use new methods, techniques, and computer-based tools quickly are required. Understanding of fundamental programming concepts strongly preferred. Interest in cognitive modeling, artificial intelligence, or cognitive task analysis. Graduate-level student in cognitive psychology, artificial intelligence, human factors, computer science, information systems, or related field.
