Software Engineer

Join a winning software research team. CHI Systems, Inc. is expanding our Fort Washington, PA development team with a Software Engineer position and is currently seeking responsible, motivated and creative candidates.

CHI Systems is seeking a candidate that has experience in the field of software engineering/computer science to assist in the development of cutting-edge training systems, database development and integration, graphical user interface development, and system/component integration.

Responsibilities of the Position

The ideal applicant for this position will have 5 years of solid C++ development experience in a Windows/Linux production environment, and a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering. The candidate will function as a technical member of an interdisciplinary team in a high team-oriented work environment. In addition to software implementation, the candidate will also assist in design, documentation, and testing.

Skills, Education and Experience

Requirements

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering

- Experience in system/component integration

- Database engineering (preferably SQl Server/MySQL).

- Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing

- Experience with speech recognition engines

- Conversancy with standard software architecture/design/planning methods,

- Strong writing and presentation skills

- Must be a team player, detail oriented, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

- Senior positions require prior project management experience.

- U.S. citizenship required.
