Summary

Join a winning software development and advanced technology research team. CHI Systems is seeking a candidate that has expertise with web and mobile application development to participate in the implementation and testing of new web-based military patrol planning, reporting, and intelligence analysis systems for the U.S. Army and Marine Corps. These positions are located at our Fort Washington, PA corporate headquarters.

Responsibilities of the Position

The candidate will function as either a senior or mid-level technical member of an interdisciplinary team in an agile environment. In addition to implementation, the candidate will also assist in design, documentation, and testing.

Skills, Education and Experience

Requirements:

- 2-4 years of relevant work experience, 5+ for senior position

- A B.S. in Computer Science or Software Engineering;

- A M.S. (for senior position) in Computer Science or Software Engineering;

- Strong Java programming skills using Java web frameworks (3+ years);

- Solid JavaScript and CSS skills;

- Familiarity with interactive Web 2.0 web applications using AJAX;

- Firm understanding of OO programming and design principles;

- Strong writing and presentation skills a plus;

- Present or the ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance;

- Must be a team player, detail oriented, and the ability to meet tight deadlines;

U.S. citizenship required.

Ideal candidates will also be proficient in the one or more of the following technologies:

- Android SDK;

- Spring, Hibernate and JPA;

- Grails and Groovy;

- Continuous integration solutions;
