CHI Systems’ Virginia Beach/Norfolk office is home to our Layered Security Solutions (LSS) business unit, which provides integrated vulnerability assessments for the federal and commercial critical infrastructure protection (CIP) market. We are currently seeking an experienced Port Vulnerability Assessment Team Program Manager for our LSS division in Virginia Beach. As a Port Vulnerability Assessment Team Program Manager at LSS, you'll find the challenges you're looking for in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities of the Position

Key responsibilities include overall management, leadership, client relations, and the direction of on-scene performance of the Port Vulnerability Assessment Consultant Team. Travel is required. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in the following areas: Port-wide Risk Management/Mitigation, Business Continuity/Resumption of Trade Plan, Risk Management,Emergency Management, Antiterrorism Plans, Emergency Preparedness and Continuity of Operations Manual, Waterway Suitability Assessment, Port Integrated Vulnerability Assessment, Waterways Management, Vessel Traffic Management, Marine Environmental Response, Salvage Response Plan, Container Security Standards and Procedures.

Skills, Education and Experience

The following experience is preferred: MSRAM, 33 CFR, Area Maritime Security Plan (AMSP), Marine Safety Counsel, National Strategy for Maritime Security , Maritime Security Compliance, Maritime Transportation System Security ,Maritime Infrastructure Recovery Plan, Maritime Security Compliance and Enforcement Working Groups, U.S. Department of Homeland Security – Port Security Grant Program, The National Infrastructure Protection Plan, American Association of Port Authorities, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Cargo Security Policy, DOD O- 2000.12H, CNI 3440.17, UFC Publications, JISIVA Benchmarks, DTRA Guidelines. Prior Coast Guard 05 or above is optimal. Other Naval applicants will be considered upon review of work history, subject knowledge, experience and departing command responsibilities. U.S. Citizenship is required.
