CHI Systems’ Virginia Beach/Norfolk office is home to our Layered Security Solutions (LSS) business unit, which provides integrated vulnerability assessments for the federal and commercial critical infrastructure protection (CIP) market. It was also awarded a blue ribbon - signifying it is an industry leader in innovation. We are currently seeking an experienced Program Manager for our LSS division in Virginia Beach.
Responsibilities
of the Position
As a Program Manager your key responsibilities include overall management, leadership, client relations and the direction of on-scene performance of the team.
This position requires strong communications skills (oral and written). Additional duties include planning, executing and controlling all aspects of the contractor workforce supporting US Coast Guard or DOD Logistics programs; organizing, training and supervising the staff, including subcontractors; and providing administrative and technical leadership for a multi-company team. He/she is responsible for the quality of the support effort, to include monitoring and responding to customer feedback; implementation of procedures for process management and quality control; planning for, and monitoring, major deliverables; developing and managing to budget; and developing appropriate metrics for tracking and communicating performance to the customer. The PM participates in business development and proposal preparation activities, to include identifying and responding to new business opportunities.
Secret level security clearance required or the ability to obtain a secret level clearance. BS degree required (electrical or systems desired), MS preferred.

and Experience
Minimum Requirements:
Experience with Coast Guard or other DOD Logistics Systems is preferred. 10 - 15 years overall experience required with a minimum of 5 in Program. The following experience is preferred: U.S. Coast Guard; Maritime Pilot w/extensive IVA experience; Former Navy (NCIS, SEAL); DTRA; JSIVA.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
