We develop portable software to run on Unix-variant (e.g., Linux, Irix, Solaris), Windows, and Macintosh systems, using portable GUI layers such as Qt with C++ and Java-based client-side and server-side components network-distributed. We develop and integrate applications that use Internet protocols and message-oriented middleware (such as CORBA and DMSO HLA) to effectively use distributed and heterogeneous computing environments real-time. We develop dynamic GUIs that display real-time data, as well as two- and three-dimensional renderings of real-time simulation environments using industry standards such as OpenGL multi-modal user interactive. We develop applications that use multiple interaction modalities, including speech recognition and synthesis, pen-based input, and even eye-based input (via eye tracking) object-oriented. We routinely use current OO methodologies and languages ranging from C++ and Java to scripting languages (e.g., Python and perl) for rapid prototyping and web development; we use high-level standard toolkits such as the Standard Template Library to ensure high-quality code and cost-effective development integrated with simulations. We work with large-scale constructive simulations, including ModSAF, OneSAF, and JSAF, and have integrated these into our training and C4I development applications strict software configuration management.
